Originating in ancient civilizations thousands of years ago for healing and spiritual purification, today, ear candling helps release ear wax, toxins and debris from the ear canal. Through the gentle warm smoke and vacuum of burning candle, ear candling offers a natural alternative compared to chemical solutions and other methods of ear candling.

The procedure:

1.   Light the large end of the cone and place the small end into the ear canal.  Once a seal is created, vapors of herbal smoke travel into the ear canal, warming the pores, and softening the ear wax.  The heat creates a vacuum which pulls infection, debris and ear wax into the cone.

2.    As cone burns, begin a face and neck massage.

3.   When the cone has burned down to the mark, remove from ear before snuffing the candle.  Clip the extinguished top and place in bowl of water for cooling.

4.   When both ears have been done, wipe the outer ears and gently cleanse the inner surface of the ear with 3% hydrogen peroxide.

5.   Carefully use the wooden stick to scrap the remains out of the herbal ear cone to reveal extracted debris.

Due to blocked pores, very little wax usually comes out first.  But as you continue the process over the next three weeks, the volume will increase until the ear wax begins to subside.  At the time, switch to a maintenance mode of one or two times per month.
